(212 Km): The simplest route is to take the Highway A-6 and throught the      AP-6 and AP-51 reach the highway A-51 that links Avila with Salamanca.   From the North: Valladolid   and Burgos communicate with Salamanca through the highway A62, Zamora highway A-66 while      Santiago de Compostela via to highway A52 and A-66.

By air: AENA

Madrid-Barajas Airport: Many airlines fly to Madrid Barajas Airport, once you there are several possibilities to reach Salamanca.

·      We recommend the Autores Bus Company, as the easiest way to reach Salamanca, tou can take the bus just outside the Terminal 1 ( Arrivals Gate), and leads to Salamanca in aproximately three hours, the        timetable and tickects can be found at its web-site Autores. In the event    that the bus schedules from the airport offered did not conform to our itinerary we recommend the same company, that since the Madrid South Bus Station "Estación SUR de Autobuses" (underground, Mendez Alvaro Station) offers regular trips to Salamanca, we suggest to choose the      express service, faster and more confortable.

·         We may also choose the train Madrid-Salamanca leaving from Madrid -Chamartín Train Satation "Estación de Trenes de Chamartín" (Underground, Chamartín Station) where we find trains leaving to Salamanca offered by the company RENFE.

·          To reach the Chamartín Train Station and the South Bus Station:   By taxi about 25 or by underground Metro, located in Terminal 2 (Madrid-Barajas Airport).

Valladolid-Villanubla Airport: It is located about 100 km from Salamanca, which recieves flights from Brussels, London and Milan and regular flights from Barcelona.

·         Once at the Valladolid-Airport, Autores Bus Company offers tranpor tation from Valladolid Villanubla Airport to Salamanca, times are        reduce and if they fail to coform our schelude we will head them towards Valladolid Bus Station "Estación de Autobuses de Valladolid", which         can be reached by taxy or regular buses leaving from the airport. At the Valladolid Bus Satation the same company offers almost each hours       coach sevices to Salamanca. Another possibility will be to take a Train at the Valladolid Railway Station "Estación de Trenes de Valadolid" that is 300 metres far away from the Valladolid Bus Station.

Salamanca- Matacán Airport: Airnostrum offers regular flights from Barcelona and weekend flights from Paris. Buses run from the airport to the Salamanca Bus Station and there is a rank outside the Airport.
