• Mathematics Subject Classification: The 1991 Mathematics Subject Classification (MSC) is the classification that has been used by the two reviewing journals Mathematical Reviews (MR) and Zentralblatt MATH (Zbl) since the beginning of 1991. A few minor changes and additions were made in 1995.

The 1991 Mathematics Subject Classification has been completely revised: MSC2000 is the result of a collaborative effort by the editors of MR and Zbl to update the classification. The complete version of the MSC2000 can be found at the address http://www.ams.org/msc/. You can either browse the entire MSC or search the MSC by text or classification code.
