The general aim of this conference is to allow non-specialists to get acquainted with corpus linguistics and its potential for different types of professional and research applications. The academic programme includes lectures, open to the general public, and workshops in which registered participants will learn through practice, instructed by experts in this area. Participants will learn how to use WordSmith Tools (Version 4.0) under the supervision of Dr. Mike Scott, who has developed this suite of analytical tools which is used worldwide for language research. Due to limited availability for workshops (30), we
strongly recommend people interested in attending to register early
(online registration at Cursos
Extraordinarios de la Universidad de Salamanca). |
