METHODOLOGY

This Introductory Seminar & Workshop includes lectures in which different scholars will deal with theoretical aspects involved in corpus linguistics, as well as workshops, where attendants will be able to deal with more practical issues. In order to gain insight into the different aspects treated, after every lecture a practical workshop will take place which will provide a practical dimension to the issue dealt with in the previous theoretical session.

Workshops will take place in a computer room. High-level computer skills are not required to carry out the practical tasks but a user-level skill in computers is desirable.
